| We
find this bush food in August, September, October and November. We find it on
the side of the road and sand hills. We don't get this bush food down the creek.
We get it on sand hills.
Sometimes we go with mother and sisters to look for bush tucker and we get kalinykalinypa. We take a little billycan and we shake it into the billycan and get a cold drink like honey. We suck on the flower. We don't bite it with our teeth. We drink the honey. It tastes like honey. It is very sweet. It is delicious. When you are sick you suck them and you get a little bit better, like cough medicine. |
