Welcome to our School!
Douglas Daly School is a small, remote school situated in a semi rural area.  Douglas Daly is essentially a one teacher school with an assistant teacher support position.   All year levels are taught in the one classroom but facilities include an extensive multi-purpose room and under-cover play area.  Our students range from Transition to Year 6 and a Pre School operates 2 days a week.

Location
Douglas Daly School is located on the DPIFM Research farm approximately 220kms south west of Darwin. The Research Farm is located near the junction of the Douglas and Daly Rivers.

History
The Douglas Daly Research Farm is a product of Government attempts to develop a high quality, tropical, cattle-raising program, accompanied by suitable grain production.  This venture began in the early 1960s and following the establishment of the Research Farm, Douglas Daly School commenced in 1982.
