Enrolment
To enrol at Stuart Park School, please provide the following information:
- Birth certificate
- Up to date contact information
- Relevant medical and immunisation records
- Any relevant information relating to the family situation
- Information from the previous school including year level attained and name of school (any assessments or reports are very useful).
School Priority Enrolment
It should be noted that at present because Stuart Park Primary School is approaching its capacity, we have instituted a policy of priority enrolment for families within the Stuart Park catchment area. This means that we are only accepting enrolments from families who live within the area and from families who already have a child enrolled in this school.
The area is the Stuart Park side of the Stuart Highway from McMinn Street to Berrimah Road and includes Stuart Park, Tipperary Waters, Bayview Haven, Woolner, Defence Establishment Berrimah and all areas on the Mandorah side of the harbour.
DEET policy
NT Departmental policy advises that a child:
- must be eight at the end of Grade 3.
- must spend a minimum of 7 years in Primary School.
- should turn thirteen in year 8. Note that this is now second yer at Middle School.
To enrol your child at the school, please complete an enrolment form which can be collected from the school office or downloaded opposite.
Meet with the principal
Before enrolment, a meeting should be made with the Principal. During this meeting the Principal will explain important aspects of Stuart Park Primary School and you will be given the opportunity to ask questions relating to the school.
