Homework
A note will be sent home at the beginning of the school year regarding homework. The amount will be up to the discretion of the class teacher and the Principal.
- Generally homework for early childhood children will consist of some home reading. At most, 20 minutes should be expected for 4 nights of the week.
- Primary children will be expected to do some language, reading and maths work. On average homework should take no longer than 30 minutes for 4 nights of the week
Absent or Late
If your child will be late to school or absent, we ask that you contact the school before classes begin for the day. If children are not in class by the morning roll call then we will call you to check on the circumstances so it is a great help if you keep us informed.
Children who are regularly late to school miss out on some very important morning procedures and often do not feel part of activities. It can be disruptive to class and punctuality is a valued asset in our community.
