About Stuart Park Primary School
From the principal
Stuart Park Primary School is a very well resourced school situated in the inner Darwin suburbs, about 3 kilometres from the centre of the city. It is a fast growing area with a great mix of the new and the old.
The school itself is one of the oldest primary schools in Darwin but you wouldn’t know it to look at it. In 1999 and 2000 it received a complete upgrade and it looks great. Visitors often comment on the magnificent gardens and the shady tropical feel.
The school community takes a very keen interest in the school and there is a close partnership between the school and the community. This is most evident when we hold our school concert where the community comes together with the school to plan a concert and dinner that caters for over 1000 people in an outdoor relaxed setting.
We promote a culture that respects others and helps children to grow strong both academically and socially. We endeavour to challenge children to achieve their personal best at whatever they take on.
Stuart Park Primary School is a safe place where staff, students and the community support each other to promote the love of life long learning.
