School Sport NT exists to provide access to school sport opportunities for all students, promote school attendance and improve educational outcomes through school sport. Our program provides multiple pathway opportunities for school community members. We strongly encourage school participation in Cluster sport programs run during school time and actively promote the inclusion of activities and opportunities for students with a disability in our system. Currently our program provides opportunities for students with a disability at the Cluster level in sports nominated by the Cluster Board and coordinated by the Cluster School Sport Coordinator. At the NT level, School Sport NT conducts competitions in athletics for students 10-19yrs and is able to provide a pathway for the 10-12yr old students to the 12yrs and under School Sport Australia Track and Field Championships hosted in states and territories around Australia. Schools and parents who would like students in their care to access these opportunities and/or gain a classification, should read further for more detailed information.
