Collaboration
Through Learning Technology, teachers
and students can communicate with others
locally and globally. This provides opportunities
to extend beyond the four walls of the
classroom, to engage in collaborative
problem solving or to learn first hand
about life in another part of the NT or
the world. Collaborative partners might
work together on the same topic, sharing
information from their local context,
solving common problems or working with
data collected from a number of schools.Collaboration
can motivate and engage students and teachers
alike.
Has your school been working with another
school? Has your school worked on a special
project to support a school in a developing
country? Why not share your project with
others - simple photos and captions is
all that is required. See Templates
for guidance.
The Online Projects website identifies
NT projects available for this year. Please
follow the link for details. Snapshots
of Remote Communities is coordinated through
the National Museums and schools are selected
to participate each year. The site is
included here as it provides a great example
of what can be achieved by sharing your
Territory.
