Building Upgrade - Ross Park facilities are
looking marvellous!
Ross
Park was allocated $6 million by the NT Government to upgrade school
facilities. In addition, the Australian Government provided $2 million
as a BER grant.
Stage 1 was completed
in 2008, with a major facelift to the
assembly area and a new quadrangle.
Stage
2 was completed in July 2009 with 6 new junior classrooms and a General
Purpose Room and they look
fabulous!
Stage
3 rebuilt remaining classrooms using
BER funding. In addition, we have a new
block of toilets, a completely renovated staffroom, upgraded air
conditioning and a big shed that houses our school bus! It is a vast
improvement on our 1961 facilities.
Stage 4,
with two additional classrooms, a specialty Music Room, new paths and a
facelift
for the Administration building, was completed in May 2012. Just
waiting for the new bike shed to be installed!
The Melody Fence was
an added bonus thanks to Arts NT and local artists.
