Building Upgrade - Ross Park facilities are
looking marvellous!
Ross
Park was allocated $6 million by the NT Government to upgrade school
facilities. In addition, the Australian Government provided $2 million
as a BER grant.
Stage 1 was completed
in 2008, with a major facelift to the
assembly area and a new quadrangle.
Stage
2 was completed in July 2009 with 6 new junior classrooms and a General
Purpose Room and they look
fabulous!
Stage
3 has rebuilt remaining classrooms using
BER funding. In addition, we have a new
block of toilets, a completely renovated staffroom, upgraded air
conditioning and a big shed that houses our school bus! It is a vast
improvement on our 1961 facilities.
Stage 4 is underway,
with three additional classrooms and a
facelift
for the Administration building, due to be completed early in 2012.
