Spike and Eddie at Kununurra Rodeo with Shaun. While I was swimming at the Mercure Hotel in Kununurra two kids raced through the gate and they did a great bomb dive in the pool. I thought they must have seen me because I'm so Spikey, but they didn't. Just then the boys' mother and sister, Kayla, came in the gate and saw me. Kayla said "Hi, are you Spike from the Internet?" "Yes, I came out for the rodeo, but I can not get out there. I don't have a car, will you take me?" "Yes" Kayla said, "Come over here to meet Spike." she called to her brothers. "Where is he?" they said. "Here he is at your feet, he's tiny. This is Shaun and Cameron, Spike" "Hiya Spike" the boys said. So I was happy. I had friends and a ride to the Rodeo. Shaun and Cameron finished swimming and went back to the room. I put a shirt and shorts on and went to meet the boys. "Have you got a pair of jeans?" they asked, "Yes? Well put them on and let's go." We got to the Rodeo and found a spot on the hill and watched some of the camp-drafting. The boys were in some drafts as well. Then the rodeo started, the barrels and roping were first. The horses were bucking. The best horses were Blue Thunder and Rocket and Shaun told me that they were brothers and from their station, Rosewood. The funniest part of the rodeo was the poddy riding! When the rodeo was over I went back to the motel with the Struber family and had a long sleep because it was a BIG day. Shaun's
