It was great to have you all at our Baines mini school.

Monday:

We all left our homes at 5.00, 5.30 or 6.00, 6:30 am and when we got to Kununurra we all went to Sling Air to learn about helicopters. We all went for a helicopter ride and the girls that flew the chopper were Simone and Raine'. Simone was the pilot for Melanie, Hannah, and Raine' was the pilot for Kayla and me. All of the boys wanted to fly so they did and they got a short fly but the girls got a long fly we went around Kununurra. We all left Sling Air, went to the KRS, for our mini school, said hello to the teachers, had lunch. We did art, went for a swim, and had our free time.

Tuesday:

Good Morning everyone. We had our breakfast and brushed our teeth. Miss Rose taught us how to play basketball and then we had a game of it. Then we went inside, sat in a circle, and played a game called Chinese whispers until Yve was finished with the parents and home tutors. We had morning tea. Then we got ready for the Melbourne cup some of us made hats and we had to wear them it was great fun. We had lunch and on came the Melbourne cup here we are screaming and yelling out GO, GO, GO and the winners were Teenage 1st, someone got 2nd, Whitney and Shaun got equal 3rd so they got a little gift. Now we went for a swim and two of us got in trouble for doing the wrong thing, we all got out and went back for a shower and had free time (swim time). Then a special thing came for us all, it was good to see. It was Melanie's art exhibition. Then the year 7's had to leave to go out for dinner. It was a good night we got up and did our speeches and awards for being in Baines cluster and helping with the little children and the 4 students plus Yve got T- shirts from North Australian Helicopters.

Wednesday:

Good Morning everyone. We had our breakfast and brushed our teeth. Miss Rose taught us how to play Netball and the boys were short of numbers so I went on their team and we won the game. When we finished playing Netball we packed up, went inside, got our journal book out, and started writing. Then it came to morning tea time So we had our snacks then went to our group, and worked on our flight work. We did some of our art work and then it came to lunch. After lunch we were going to the air port to see a big jet come in from Perth and there were heaps of things on it. There was a big pup on it and his name was Max. So many people on it as well. Than we waited for another plane to come in from Darwin, Luke, and Dan Murray's sister was on it and it was a big surprise for all of us. Swim time, free time, shower time.

Thursday:

Good Morning everyone. We got up, had our breakfast, and brushed our teeth. Miss Rose taught us how to play hockey so we had a game. Some one got hurt by accident that person was all right. We had a good game because my team won and on my side was Harvey, Teenage, Lena, Shaun, Dan, Raine' and myself. My teams were Tigers, the other team were Leopards, and on that side was Clayton, Trista, Cameron, Luke, Melanie, Simone and Whitney and the scores were 14 to 15. Smoko: we had our smoko and then we went in to our groups and did drama and music. My group went to drama and we did a play for our concert then it was lunchtime.

So we went inside for lunch, cleaned up and had our nice lunch. Then we had heaps of free time to practice our dances and our plays, "All of the girls did "That don't impress me much" with Sierra from Rosewood. Then we did some of our things that we had to finish before we went for a swim. Then we went for a swim then it was free time and shower time, then dinner, we had a Barbecue. The cook's were Luke, Cameron and I. After dinner was our concert, all of our mums and dads were there and some of the KRS, they were supposed to do an act but there was only two or three there.

Then it came to our bedtime there was only 2 of us there and we had a birthday cake for Raine'.
Good night Simone, Melanie, Whitney, Raine, Luke, Shaun, Dan, Cameron, Hannah, Kayla and myself.

Friday: We said Happy Birthday to Raine. We had our breakfast, helped packed the bus up and had heaps of lollies and said good-bye to everyone. Then we went in to town with our parents and did some shopping. Later we went back to our stations. Some went on a Boat Cruise for their company and went home on Saturday morning. For the year sevens it is Our last MINI SCHOOL so good luck for the next year sevens in Baines cluster.
