What
Is Book club? Book club is
an activity for children and adults to buy books, videos and
software. The process of
book club: 1. Scholastic
sends up the order forms to the librarian from
interstate. 2. The library
monitors put due dates on the order forms. 3. The library
monitors deliver the order forms to each class in the
school. 4. Children
and teachers choose an item or items from their
booklet. 5. The
children bring in the order form with the money in an
envelope and put the envelope in a bin (especially for this
reason) in the library. 6. The
librarian sends all the orders down south. 7. Scholastic
collects the money and sends back the books, videos and
software. 8. The
children and adults get their orders in their class bag or
the librarian comes and gives it to them. 9. Remember
that this might take a few weeks.
