• Hat. In keeping with the school's sun safe policy children will be required to wear a hat during outside time and on any trips away from the Preschool. Hats are available from the Preschool for $5.50.
  
• Library bag. The Preschool has an excellent library of children's books and children are encouraged to borrow books from the library every day. Sharing books and reading to children provides an excellent foundation for children learning to read. The use of a library bag is a way to help children develop care and respect for books. Library bags are available for sale for $3 at Preschool.
  
• Shoes/sandals. Children are required to wear footwear to Preschool for safety reasons. Thongs are not recommended. Children will be required to take off their shoes before Sensory Motor on Monday and Wednesday.
  
• 2 or 3 pieces of fruit each week to share at morning/afternoon tea time. Children will be given water to drink and fruit for a small snack during the session. They are encouraged to drink water through the session.
  
• Change of clothes. Outdoor activities involving water and messy play will be provided. Children may get wet or dirty during these times. In the wet season children may swim, and should bring swimming clothes and a towel.

Please label your child's clothes, hat and shoes as children often do not recognise their own items.
