How parents can help
their child at home
Talk to your child about what
they have done at Preschool. Ask about the things they like,
their friends, and what they do.
Talk to your child, tell them
stories, talk about the things you like, tell them about
your childhood, their family.
Read to your
child.
Sing together, try to remember
the songs you sang as a child.
Go on outings- visit the shops,
parks, beach, library, friends, catch a bus - talk about
what you are doing, and when you get home, talk about what
you have done.
Do things together - make things,
cook, garden, walk, ride a bike.
