The Suburb of Moil
Moil suburb was named after the Aboriginal tribe 'MARINGAR' who lived around the middle waters and swamp land of the Moyle River (in tributaries of the lower Daly River in the Port Keats area.) 'MOIL' though it is not a valid tribal name, means 'plain' or 'plain country' in Aboriginal language. Moil suburb is located in the northern suburbs of Darwin in Australia's Northern Territory.
