Welcome to Leanyer Primary School

Welcome and thank you for visiting our website. Leanyer School is in the northern suburb region of Darwin in the Northern Territory of Australia. Our culturally diverse school population is comprised of approximately 570 students.

The school is organised as a Senior School (year 4-6) and a Junior School (Preschool - Year 3). The school has specialist teachers in English as a Second Language (ESL) Information Communication Technology (ICT) Special Education and Enrichment (Languages, Music).

The Leanyer Preschool is a recognised Early Entry provider. Children are eligible for pre-school provided they turn 4 by June 30 of the current school year.

The school functions under an elected School Council. Early in the year (March) the Annual General Meeting is held and community members are elected.
