Urapunga Primary School provides primary education for a small
Aboriginal community at the Urapunga Station. Urapunga School is located
300km south east of Katherine, on the Roper Highway. It is a two teacher
school with a student capacity of approx. forty. It caters for students
from Transition to Year 7.
The original Urapunga School was located on the Station property in the
"Silver Bullet" and was opened in 1975. The school moved to
present location on the aboriginal land in 1995.
