CROC
FESTIVAL 2002
During Third Term 2002 the Amanbidji students attended the Croc Festival
2002 held in Kununurra, Western Australia. The Croc Festival is an event
held in rural and remote communities around Australia for primary and
secondary students promoting health, education, careers, sports and the
arts. Schools travel to a festival location where they spend 2-3 days
participating in daytime activities. Schools may also perform on stage
in front of their peers and the community at night.
Amanbidji School students performed songs and dances successfully on stage
together with students from Pigeon Hole School and attended the many activities
arranged for students during the Croc Festival week.
