The Jingili Pre-School is architecturally designed with a safe caring environment. It is part of a unique facility that offers Child Care and Preschool in the one location.

The Pre-school is set in wonderful tropical surrounds with a pool, cubby house, sandpit area and play equipment. The Preschool also has a Smartboard which is a fantastic tool that really engages children in their learning. The staff nurture and care for the learning and developmental needs of Pre-school age students through a play based program. The program and assessment outcomes are developed using the national Early Years Learning Framework Belonging Being and Becoming. Parents can choose from a morning or afternoon session depending on their child’s needs.

Strong links are established with parents through regular digital portfolios covering every aspect of the program. An 'open-door' policy exists encouraging parents to be involved at all times.

The Jingili School Community is very proud of the Playgroup program being offered at Jingili Pre-school. This is an innovative, educational and unique Playgroup that has become a popular community service for parents and young children alike. It runs every Thursday from 9:00 to 10:00am with Playgroup parents and children participating in the Pre-school program.

Another fantastic program offered at Jingili Preschool is the award winning CARES Program. This stands for Children Almost Ready to Enter School and is designed to prepare children for the transition from Preschool to School in a caring and supportive way. Upper primary students from Jingili volunteer to befriend and mentor the Preschool students as they become familiar and confident within their new environment.

Jingili Preschool enjoys a high profile within the community with children attending from all over Darwin and Palmerston. Every effort is made to cater for the needs of the children and families who attend. “Putting the Child First” is fundamental in every relationship.
