ICT FAIR 2008

The ICT Fair is the culmination of a creative learning journey for students and their teachers in developing an innovative and creative product using Information Communication Technology. The purpose of the Fair is to encourage the use of ICT in schools and colleges across all curriculum areas, not restricted to Information Technology specific classes or teachers, with the Fair a forum for showcasing student work.

The Fair strives to be inclusive and encourages participation from all Territory school students.

Entry Categories - Stages of Schooling

Pre-Year 2; Year 3- Year 6; Year 7- Year 9; Year 10- Year 12; Special Education

Teachers will be required to select best entries for submission. Three entries/ class/teacher. So specialise teachers in primary, middle years or senior secondary teachers may send 3 entries per class.

The type of entry, what software and hardware used is up to you. Work should be linked to the NTCF outcomes. Refer to the criteria to get an understanding of what you will be judged on.

Students work must be accompanied by the completed Entry Form and the signed Student Media Consent Form.

No student work will be returned- ensure you keep a copy.

What is Required:

  • Completed Entry Form including the Learning Outcomes.
  • Final Product
  • Any supporting work such as: plans, scripts, storyboards ,drafts
  • Student Media Consent Form for each entry for each student.

 Judging Criteria: Will be available soon.

Entries will be judged according to Learning Technology and Essential Outcomes.

The expected outcome must be clearly stated.

Senior Secondary/VET: Outcomes can be replaced by their assessment requirements.
