Welcome to the Henbury School website. We are very proud of our school and our students. Henbury School is a great place to work and to learn. We are situated in Darwin’s Northern Suburbs and are just 10 minutes drive from the heart of this thriving tropical city. Our students are diverse and unique in their learning and program needs and teachers are constantly negotiating, evaluating and planning to meet this diversity. Common across our school is the expectation that students will perform highly and take on the challenge to continually improve on yesterday. Teachers also have high expectations of themselves and are continually striving to improve on their teaching practices. Teachers at Henbury strive to deliver quality and stimulating curriculum in a needs satisfying way. We are very fortunate to have these skilled and dedicated professionals. Because of our generous staffing ratio teachers and students enjoy close professional learning relationships – our kids love coming to school.
