The School Based Constable is available to individual students and acts as a
resource person for many courses. She helps institute and monitor appropriate
safety, security, emergency, parking and traffic procedures.

The School Sister is available to individual students. The School Sister assists
with our Health program, first aid program and with maintaining high standards
of health and hygiene at the School. The School Sister is on call to deal with
illness and emergency health issues.

A number of teachers are appointed to oversee the School's Anti-Harassment Policy.
They educate and inform students of procedures to deal with harassment issues
in order to provide both Staff and students with a safe learning and teaching
environment free from harassment.
Home Liaison Officer

The Home Liaison Officer maintains good relationships between the home and the
School. She shares the responsibility for monitoring School attendance.
Aboriginal resource Officer

The Aboriginal Resource Officer supports the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
students through pastoral and academic assistance. He works with students in
the classroom and provides extra-curricular activities. The Aboriginal Resource
Officer oversees the Aboriginal and Islander Tertiary Aspirations Program (AITAP),
in conjunction with parents (Aboriginal Secondary Students Parents Association)
and teachers. This program is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students
who aim to complete Year 12 and enter tertiary education courses. It encourages,
supports and assists students to improve their academic performance, aspirations
and expectations.
Hearing Impaired Unit

The hearing impaired unit caters for a number of hearing impaired students,
and has specialised resources and staff. This unit caters for sign and language
students Auslan is available as a second language. Whilst the unit actively
encourages and places hearing impaired students into mainstream, there is a
recognition of the need to withdraw students into small groups or conduct one
on one sessions Students are supported in mainstream classes with oral/signed
interpreters or note takers.
