Ms Jenny White

Ms White began teaching in 1976 at Angurugu Area School on Groote Eylandt. She has also worked at Alawa Primary and for several years was a relief teacher at a number of Darwin High Schools and Primary Schools. She came to Darwin High in 1983 as the ESL Ongoing teacher before taking on the position of English Faculty Senior and Assistant Principal of the Senior and Junior Schools.

Areas of responsibility

The Assistant Principal Junior School assists the Principal in providing quality leadership in the areas of planning, development, oversight and evaluation of School policy, curriculum, teaching programs and organisation relating to the Junior School at Darwin High School.
The Assistant Principal works closely with the Junior School Team of Year Coordinators, the School Nurse, the School based Police Officer, the Home Liaison Officer, the Aboriginal and Islander Education Worker and the School Counselor to provide a positive, supportive and collaborative environment to meet the needs of the School Community.
