Course Outline:
This course meets the needs of students wishing to enter the Community
Services Work industry in the areas of health care, aged care,
children's services and disability services.
The course includes 4 weeks of Structured Work Placement (SWP).
Assessment of some competencies will occur on work placement.
Course Length: Full Year, one day per week (Wednesdays)
Pre-requisite: Selection will be based on interview
Compulsory Requirement: Attainment of a Senior First Aid Certificate
is required prior to awarding of the Certificate.
