around the waterholes that make the area memorable and fun to

located 4.5km from Canteen Creek. This a great clean swimming
pool once the rains begin. |
Davenport Ranges National Park is located about one hour from
Canteen Creek and just over an hour from the Stuart Highway. There
are terrific camping spots with very basic facilities.

Old Police Station Waterhole [Policeman's waterhole] offers
permanent swimming in peaceful surroundings. Come for a month and
soak up the serenity.
Whistle Duck Creek offers serenity in the isolation of the bush.
It is a magificent place and offers swimmimg and good walks.
