Homework

A note will be sent home at the beginning of the school year regarding homework.

• Generally homework for early childhood children will consist of some home reading. At most, 20 minutes should be expected for 4 nights of the week.
• Primary children will be expected to do some language, reading and maths work. On average homework should take no longer than 30 minutes for 4 nights of the week

Absence or Lateness

If your child will be late for school or absent, we ask that you notify the school as soon as is possible. If we are not notified you will be contacted.
Children who are regularly late to school miss out on some very important morning procedures and often do not feel part of activities. It can be disruptive to class and punctuality is a valued asset in our community.
Regular absences can impact upon the child’s progress at school. Children should attend school unless they are sick.
