Canoeing : An introduction to the skills of effective canoeing. Skills may include getting in and out of the craft, forward / reverse strokes, emergency stop, boat trim, rafting up, the skills of forward / reverse sweeps, draw strokes and capsize drills are also taught.
Kayaking : An introduction to the skills of effective kayaking.
When time permits, the skills similar to canoeing are also taught.
* Canoeing and Kayaking sessions are undertaken at the Rum Jungle Lake, 12.5 kms from Batchelor. A transportation fee of $20.00 per Coaster bus load is charged.
