HOUSE COLOURS AND NAMES On enrolment each child is allocated to a House Team. Each House team has a boy and girl captain and vice-captain who are elected from Year 6 and Year 5 respectively. The captains and vice captains are elected early in Term One and remain in this position for the whole school year. The House Teams are named after species of geese. During 1999, the inaugural SRC surveyed the student population to decide on House Team names. Species of geese were chosen in an effort to further promote the "Lessons from Geese" philosophy of teamwork, support, cooperation, encouragement and being inter-dependent on each other.
