Clontarf Football Academy

In 2007 ANZAC Hill High School and the Clontarf Foundation from Western Australia created a partnership called the ANZAC Hill High School Football (AFL) Academy.

 

All male students are able to join the program, which includes trainings and games.

What does the Clontarf Academy do?

The core business of the Football Academy is engaging and supporting young Indigenous males in mainstream education until they complete year 12 and then assisting them with finding employment.

What do Academy students do?

  • The students have access to quality coaching, over 20 AFL games a year and several camps, including one interstate camp.
  • Students receive support from Academy staff with mentoring and tuition.
  • Students have the opportunity to participate in community events such as the Henley on Todd and other events.
