Strong Beginnings 2 Lizards
T/1 Lizards has had a focus this semester on farm animals. We have learnt about pigs, horses and cows.
Our day begins with the Parents and Teachers Targeting Emergent Readers program, a reading and literacy focus with a variety of 'hands on' activities.
Each day includes learning about numbers, shapes, letters and sounds, reading and writing and much more.
Some of our Lizards are at school for the first time, so our priority is to make sure they feel happy and safe at school.
We learn through drama and song about being friendly, caring and sharing with each other in our classroom and in the playground.
Students participate in sport, fitness and the Perceptual Motor Program, enjoying the activities and developing physical skills. Lizards are the Best!!!!
